Access controls at the gate have been problematic for a while with frequent breakdowns in the remote controls and communications. This has been a source of enormous frustration, not only for residents but for the board and our contractors.
This has lead to robust discussions with the service providers, who have committed to proving a new upgraded solution, which we will be testing during the coming week.
In addition to this, we are also implementing the following enhancements, all of which we hope to conclude during February:
- Biometric readers for pedestrian entrance
- Expanded video surveillance of our perimeter
- New Functionality to reduce reliance on the remotes
- New procedures for Contractors, which will be unveiled at our next AGM.
