Francis works for The Guys in Green as a gardener.
On 15 March two cars were involved in an accident outside the Estate. Francis was working on the verge at the time, and was struck by one of the vehicles.
Francis sustained serious head and other injuries and spent some weeks in ICU at Sunninghill.
During this time, residents at Fleetwood and other estates at which The Green Guys worked, started a collection for him. Through the generosity of those donors, we managed to collect over R20 000.00.
Francis has since been discharged from ICU, and is in rehabilitation, making fantastic progress.
