We have recently had a few complaints regarding parking of vehicles at Fleetwood. We therefore wish to draw all residents to the following, drawn from our Conduct Rules:
- Vehicles may only be parked in your own drive way, or directly outside your unit, provided that this does not obstruct access to drive ways on the opposite side of the road.
- Vehicles may not be parked in a manner which results in obstruction of the road, especially considering that some vehicles may be oversized, such as the rubbish collectors, contractors or furniture removals companies.
- When you require additional parking for visitors, you may request to use the area outside the guardhouse, or from neighbours.
- Parking on verges is not permitted, besides if it is your own. No parking is allowed on adjoining verges or common property.
- Care must be taken to park in a safe manor, considering other road users, including pedestrians, children and vehicles.
If you are at all unsure, the best policy is to ASK.
Also, please remember that you are responsible for the conduct of your visitors. Ensure that they adhere to these rules, lest you end up with a fine!
